After watching the first Harry Potter those many years ago i may have rushed home and waited for my bird to drop a feather and etched away at it to make something close to that of a feather quill. O the shame, but i can put that behind me as i am not the only one who gets largely inspired from films, so do the crew at opening ceremony with their 'Carol ring' inspired by the main wild thing from 'Were the wild things are'. It looks like it could cause some harm, making me love it all the more.
I must admit when i first heard that a film adaption of the book was to be made i could only think of all the reasons why the film would be a failure but after doing my shiftly cinema checks i briefly saw the part were Max leaves his imaginary world of wild creatures and couldn't help but shed a few tears. I could really empathise with Max experiencing change and loss and Carol reminds me of my Dad so i had an immediate drawing to the relationship that Max and Carol share. All the characters portray such deep emotion, i'm sure everyone could relate to all the characters. Will have to add that to the 'Do- to' list.
