On my searches i came across the work of Alphonse Mucha, an Art Deco figure from the 1800’s. In particularly i am inspired by this piece of work which illustrates women as the seasons. I find my close affinity with the earth and it’s seasons refreshing as everything seems to all abstract and modern and sharp lines.. bleh!( ** Upchuck).
I want passion for something real!
This brings me to a real appreciation of living amongst the natural world which in turn reminds me of The Wheel Of the Year, now only followed mostly in Paganism. The Wheel of the Year is an annual cycle of the earth’s seasons and is celebrated at every change of season. It celebrates a belief that the progression of birth, life, decline and death experienced in human lives, is echoed in the season.
The natural world is such a powerful beauty, just as i’d like my target to be. Young, witty, educated.
A force to be reckoned with.
In saying this I am enthused my the soft, flowing lines of all that grows as well as contrast in textures, rich aromas. A perfect balance of all elements.
